Zoom Teaching for Grandsons, Day 26 Report - May 18, 2020

I use "Best Teacher" cut-up apple to start today's lesson

1. Wesley recognized "best teacher" words- good job- will continue work on more-
2. Proud to share his "space shop" Lego project
3. Draw picture of something (?) spaceship? for you with his name "Wesley" - he wrote it when l sound it out for each alphabet!
4. Draw sun and spell it with "sun"
-----
Too excited to show you his work- walking away from the room!
5. Use Pom Pom to decorate something on the construction paper(???)
6. Watch fire truck video with each parts explained- he loves it!
7. A video story about "William Watermore" fire truck- he enjoys it!
---
Forest Report:

1. Watch the mystery facts about "Bermuda Triangle" 5 minutes YouTube- he said he knows all the facts about- 27 people, 6 ships, 3 airplanes all mysteriously missing! He read from the video book about USS Cyclops etc-
2. Math (subtraction) practice- the answer is Bermuda- l have been focusing on his line-up on each digit without borrowing from the 10th digit dice last week! I will try again! On computer screen is bit hard to show!
3. Art project- making a fan from construction paper- he is creative to use paper clip instead of Popsicle stick. He even knows how to do it himself-no instructions from me or the YouTube- smart boy!
----
Forest is such a tour guide who leads me to his newly-finished backyard landscape with his I-Pad on Zoom lesson.  He thoroughly described to every corner of the beautiful design and his proud project of hand-made - bird-feeder from the water bottle.  He even told me step-by-step about how he made it.  Quite a intelligent boy!
