Zoom Teaching for Grandsons, Day 23 Report - May 13, 2020

Wesley Report

1. Use Patriot colonial hat - with letter/word recognizing game-He know- l love you- Forest, Wesley, Hans & Celeste, sun, best teacher)
2. Seasons- only spring that he knows the spelling - will work on summer, fall & winter at later session
3.Four seasons with Berenstain Bears 
Berenstain Bears fly the kite
Good stories!
4. Colors recognition game- knows blue, yellow, orange, white, pink, green- all others- black, grey, red, brown need more practice!
5. Read "cuddly Animal" story- knows (rabbits, cats, dogs, lion, panda, pig, ducks, koala& gorilla, fox, seal)

Forest Report

1. Show me the coloring of smelly markers - nice work!
2. Show me his creative book-making (All about Sequoia!) He said the spelling (scoa) was his guess! Nice work from the cover page & 3 pages he has been creating since yesterday!
3. We watch 7 minutes YouTube about Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks- he was excited that he had visited a. General Sherman Tree b. Crystal Cave c. Hollow Log ( tree tunnel). He also saw humming birds, squirrels, fish, rabbits, deer, but no bear!
4. Math addition practice- the answer is "Sequoia." He is very happy! I encourage him to correct the cover page of his creative book- coverage page! He did it!
5. Bonus- continue more drawing with numbers from yesterday- 5(Apple) 6(snail) 7(Dino) 8(snowman)
9(bird). He writes the headings all by himself with correct spellings except "Dino." He corrected himself later!

Good session today for both!
He told me he would like to make dragonfly from the Popsicle wooden sticks from the package!
