I have read portions of the Class Album II, and like them a
lot. You've done an admirable job in putting together an album like this.
I could only wish that we had something like for our own class!
The articles are all very well written. 陳麗玉的文筆尤其優美，感情豐富也充沛於字裡行間。你們外文系的果然不同凡響！班刊的名字「外文內美」尤其傳神。可是少數的男生有沒有抗議過！
A nice blog that you created for your class! It truly helps
capture a lot of precious moments of past, and also help one look forward to
the time of getting together again!

received 班刊(II), Perfect! It is a great masterpiece(342 pages).
While reading each page, it is like a movie playing in front of me and
let me go back to the past joyful days.
I think no other classes will be able to challenge such a wonderful work.
It leaves an unforgettable memory in my life and I will tell
my children that I have ever had a such warm and sweet
class at college.

禮君,因一直無法上去Janice's blog,煩請代為轉寄,Thanks a lot!
因著禮君的一句褒揚，更站在知無不言、言無不盡的朋友立場，我願意忍著肩臂的
痠痛，再次抒發我對班刊的幾點感想，了解我甚深的聖功女中老校長曾說過我是一個腸
子外漏，非常真誠的人，所以我就坦誠地再提出我對班刊的觀感，如有冒犯，務請大家
多多包涵！
第一集的班刊是一個驚奇的歡樂大集合，它細數著久別重逢的老友，劫後餘生的種種
感人故事，在這屬於咱們的班刊中，有使人醍醐灌頂的成長故事、令人拍案叫絕的教書
趣事、讓人感動落淚的甜蜜夫妻情、還有令人回味無窮的溫馨同學會。它的內容扎實、
版面設計井然有序， 堪稱是一部相當成功的刊物( magazine )。
五年後出版的第二集班刊，我感覺似乎是在痛苦難產之下，掙扎而出的早產兒。諸君
可知那是一群年邁的老人頂著扶老攜幼的重擔，拖著百病纏身的身體，負著無人知曉的
重大壓力，瞇著愛睏的雙眼，盯著一字字一句句努力校對之下轟轟烈烈的產出的愛的結
晶、曠世鉅著？
新一集的班刊傳承了第一集的優點，但內容卻更加豐富、開展，更重要的是它稟賦著
一個新的使命－繼往開來。談到此，我們就應特別感謝我們班班刊的開山始祖、幕後推
手－吳玉琴 ( 我最欽佩的小學、高中、大學同學 )。玉琴是一個不折不扣的築夢大師，
更難能可貴的，她是一位真正忠於抱負、勇於實踐的圓夢者，當年玉琴本著愛班、愛校
的偉大情懷，找了素娥、伯宸等志同道合者一同策劃、催生了第一集班刊的出籠。勇敢
堅毅的玉琴雖身處異域開疆闢土，但仍懷著一股愛班愛校的心，走過萬水千山、篳路藍
縷、歷盡艱辛的去演講、尋訪、邀稿，敝班才有今日的傲人成績。我常思考究竟是何德
何能，我竟能坐享其成？ ( Janice, as the name suggests, is such a nice,
capable,
responsible, enthusiastic, and brave girl. She really has
high
expectation on our class as well as herself. Let’s show
our highest
esteem for her devotion. )
最後，感謝老天爺，讓我有此榮幸和大家同窗，本班真的是人才濟濟，有大學校長、
外交官、中學名師、園藝專家、商界名流、文章大師等等，個個文武雙全、十八武藝樣
樣精通，恕我狂妄，誰人甲我們比啊？

我只想告訴你，我今天在系裡已經接到楊文雄轉來的班刊，

上週五就收到了從高雄出版社寄來的20本班刊，今早楊文雄先電話連絡黃英甫老師
後，便依指示將班刊15本拿到外文系辦公室，由他們再轉贈5本給黃老師。 說實在
話，第二期的末代班刊較第一期的顯然精彩多多哩，經由兩位大師級的作家聯手合編的
完美傑作，的確不同凡響！它幾乎就像是一本珍貴的回憶錄，詳實記載著60級外文系班
級同學畢業30年後的友情重現，和對母系師恩的感念情操。 成大自有外文系以來，從未
見過哪一班像我們班這麼樣親愛團結，我想也是空前絕後的一本班刊了。這一切都要歸
功於您的慧質蘭心與有情有義，若非有您的嘔心瀝血、不停引線穿梭，怎會有此令人回
味無窮、悲歡交織的感人故事？ 感謝、感激再感恩囉！ You

agreed with 陳 禮君 and 黃英甫老師’s suggestion to present “Class Album II” on 12/29/2012 - 55周年系慶 instead It’s
better to be 100% perfect. I know Judy and I had done 4th
proof-read. We may need 5th proof-read if necessary.
Just let me know, then, I will do it again.
2. I
am sorry I will miss the event with you folks on 12/29/2012
due to work and schedule issues. I hope the editors - Judy and Bo-Chen
and our classmates can be there to share this book with our FLLD classmates and
alumni. This “Class Album II” is our journey from NCKU. The project
would not have been possible without Judy and Bo-Chen and all classmates’
contributions and support. I have stated in the epilogue on the
album. I will share with you all.
歲月流逝5年之後 -「外文內美」第二集的發行是畢業後41年，同學個個邁入60大關之後，有的同學高陞，有的同學榮退，有的同學作親家父母，有的同學作祖父母，有的同學奉養年邁雙親，生命在充滿活力與色彩中昇華了。可是我們卻無法逃避與生俱來的生老病死挑戰。我們的子女就在我們大半生散播關懷和細心照顧的環境之下茁壯成人，而逐漸遠離我們身邊。這本「外文內美」第二集就是我們對子女們的見証，以引發出她們對我們作父母的苦心而了解我們所經過的道路，這是一個階段的結束也也另一階段的開始。我們祈盼「外文內美」第三集能像一把薪火繼續燃燒。如果成大外文系的學弟學妹們願意加入我們的陣容，發揮母校母系的特殊才華，相信我們走過的路不會完全沒有意義的，那接捧人選當然是學弟學妹們了。
3. Our ’71 FLLD CLASS ALBUM will be in the blog
format to catch up with all-digital future. I am lucky to host DC reunion
with our classmates/roommates –陳 禮君, 呂春妹(Hsy-Hwui),
Jia-her and Shinyee on 10/4/2012 – 10/20/2012.
Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to start this blog project. I
will update it when I can. The busy work in the office and hurricane
Sandy’s clean-up kept me from engaging more time to
update.

Dear Judy,
這是個不得不然的做法，但也是個更好的決定。
因為有更多的系友的見證與分享，對60級來說不是更風光嗎？
何況，藉著55周年系慶，70級正準備利用12/29舉辦畢業30周年慶，
假使去年有辦活動的話，60級正好可辦40周年慶，
不過，延遲一年補辦，或稱之為41年慶，也未嘗不可，
已經相隔五年了，大夥兒回來團聚之餘也接受系友們對贈書的稱羨，
不是一舉兩得嗎？
