It’s our last day in Atlantic
City.
We strolled along the boardwalk,
chatted with the fishermen to see if they had any luck from their catch. We just wanted to chill out and get ready for
tomorrow’s departure to Flushing, New
York.
Being an early riser all my life,
there were a few mornings; I would stand on the balcony before dawn, to see
four or five fishing boats going out to sea.
The breath-taking ocean view was just spectacular. Sometimes, we, girls, would just sit on my
bed in my unit watching the ocean waves crashing onto piers at the beach. We were wishing the time would stand still
forever for us. We want to savor this while we can, because once this moment is
gone it is lost forever to never to be seen or experienced again. We all want to live in the moment.
We experienced the ride of Atlantic’s Jitney mini-bus
today. These unique little blue buses
are very convenient to zip back and forth along the main streets in town. We hopped on outside of Borgata Casino with
$2.25 fare instead of the original meaning “nickel” in Old English. It’s still rather cheap with its services of
24 hours a day running around the resorts, casinos, hotels and attractions in
town. Our free shuttle driver from
Flagship resort didn’t even know what “Jitney” was really stood for when I
asked him. I eventually Google on-line
myself to find out the real meaning.Lichun and I went swimming in the resort’s swimming pool while Jia-Her and Shyhwui worked out a little on the treadmill in the ocean-view fitness center.
I think we all had “the time of our lives” from this reunion trip so far!
Look at the beautiful shots from our resort – Flagship! Good-bye Atlantic City!
