Zoom Teaching for Grandsons, Day 33 Report - May 28, 2020

Wesley Report:

The best Zoom day so far!
1. Shows off his mustache with marker under his nose
2. Art project with "father's day" card design- he enjoys it a lot today! He was able to really focus on his project! He said "A-Ma, let's do the biggest project today!" He put stickers, Googly-eyes, fuzzy balls, buttons,glitters  on the paper. He put his name on top- good job!

He happily sang his song while doing the project!

P.S. Send me photos of Wesley's art project yesterday, thanks!
He said "it was too heavy, l was not nice to him!" So he would not show me! He was so happy, "Ah, A-Ma, thank you for giving me those 36 markers when he plans to visit me one day! Please save for me!" "I will open the door for you when you come to my house when l hears the door bell! You know, A-Ma, we have new door bell, l will show it for you!"
So chatty! He told me, "l know, my song was lovely!" When l told him the song he sings was lovely while doing his big project for Daddy & Mommy!

P.S.  I was not able to get the photo of his "big art project" for some reasons I got from Celeste that "the Wind must have blown away when he was drying it outside!"  I did not know what to say!  I simply responded that "how can it be?  He had spent so much time and effort to create something lovely for Mommy and Daddy?"  Oh, well, Lost is lost!  I said, "if he is not heart-broken, I am!"

Forest Report:

1. He loaded the computer up with Mrs. E's homework assignment-it's rather slow due to old computer! That's what he claimed- he made a cute card for me while waiting the computer to load.
2. Finally, 10 minutes later, homework time- matching the sound of b, f, h, g, c, d,  n, l, k, w, u, etc.
3. Recording chapter book reading after he heard about Mrs. E's comments, he said 300-400 book, 500 pages
4. Moby math- l didn't check
5. 3 sentences for space X - falcon-9 engine- he did it himself- we watched 3 minutes Model X Tesla when two astronauts drove to launch-pad before bidding fare-well to the family! But, he said his Tesla car from Uncle Eric is not the same- l will show him how to draw "NASA logo" tomorrow! Actually, please show him the astronaut suit that hangs in the room!
6. Math work sheet- he did himself- l think he is gradually getting the concept of carryover & lined-up during the computation!
