• Teacher Wu said, "How is everyone? I am so sorry that I am late because I am studying Raymond's (書宗) recently submitted homework - His grandfather's Chinese Calligraphy."吳老師說: "大家好！對不起，我上課遲到了，因為我正在研究 Raymond(書宗) 剛剛寄出的家庭作業-他祖父的中國毛筆書法." Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Dàjiā hǎo! Duìbùqǐ, wǒ shàngkè chídàole, yīnwèi wǒ zhèngzài yánjiū léi méng dé (Raymond) gānggāng jì chū de jiātíng zuòyè -tā zǔfù de zhōngguó máobǐ shūfǎ."

It's from one of the 6 most well-known traditional classical Chinese novels - "The Plum in the Golden Vase - Jin Ping Mei" - 7 characters poetry

Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東) said, ""I have one question? "Are they written the standard (k'ai-shu) or cursive Chinese writing?"" Darrell Rico Doss( 熊大東) 說, "我有一個問題？ “他們寫的是標準（k'ai-shu）還是草書的中文？”" Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東)shuō, "Wǒ yǒu yīgè wèntí? “Tāmen xiě de shì biāozhǔn (k'ai-shu ) háishì cǎoshū de zhōngwén?”

•  Teacher Wu said, "Thank you.  It's a very good question.  There are five different script styles for Chinese Calligraphy.  His grandfather used cursive script.  But, I will try to write it with the standard kai-shu to help you all understand the meanings of the poem."吳老師說: "謝謝。 這是一個很好的問題. 中國書法有五種不同的文字風格.  他的祖父用草書。 但是，我會嘗試用標準的楷書來寫它，以幫助大家知道這首詩的含義。" Wú lǎoshī shuō:"Xièxiè. Zhè shì yīgè hěn hǎo de wèntí. Zhōngguó shūfǎ yǒu wǔ zhǒng bùtóng de wénzì fēnggé. Tā de zǔfù yòng cǎoshū. Dànshì, wǒ huì chángshì yòng biāozhǔn dì kǎishū lái xiě tā, yǐ bāngzhù dàjiā zhīdào zhèshǒu shī de hányì."

• Teacher said: The other two poems are the same written at two different times and with two different custom scrolls.  It's from the famous writing, Former Ode on the Red Cliffs - Chinese: 前赤壁赋; pinyin: qián chìbì fù).  

• I am very curious about how your grandfather wrote exactly the same Chinese calligraphy at two different times.  It's so beautifully written from the famous author, poet, painter & calligrapher, Su Dongpo from Somg Dynasty.

• Teacher Wu said, "we discuss about Hu Shih's "3-inch Gold Lotus wife" - history and women's social status during the early Chinese feudal society ."吳老師說: "我們討論胡適先生的“3寸金蓮的太太"-中國封建初期的歷史和女性社會地位。" Wú lǎoshī shuō:"Wǒmen tǎolùn guānyú Húshì de 3 cùn Jīn Lián  de Tàitài-zhōngguó fēngjiàn chūqí de lìshǐ hé nǚxìng shèhuì dìwèi."

• Teacher Wu said, "we will teach lesson 64  "seeing a friend off" next week." 吳老師說："我們下星期要教第64課-為朋友送行。” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Wǒmen xià xīngqí' yào jiào dì 64 kè-Wèi péngyǒu sòng xíng."

·   Teacher Wu said, "How is everyone? Today is very pretty outside.  Could you tell me what color this tree is?"吳老師說: "大家好！今天外面很漂亮.  請告訴我這棵樹是什麼顏色" Wú lǎoshī shuō: "Dàjiā hǎo! Jīntiān wàimiàn hěn piàoliang. Qǐng gàosù wǒ zhè kē shù shì shénme yánsè."

• Joseph(高靖和) Steve (葛艾倫) said, "This tree is yellow.  It's very pretty. " Joseph(高靖和) 和 Steve (葛艾倫)說: ：這棵樹是黃色的。 非常漂亮.” Joseph(高靖和) hé Steve  (葛艾倫) shuō “Zhè kē shù shì huángsè de. Fēicháng piàoliang."

·   .Raymond (書宗) said, "I did not see the picture, so I thought the "Book" is black." Raymond (書宗)  說: "我沒有看到圖片，所以我以為“書”是黑色的." (書宗) shuō : "Wǒ méiyǒu kàn dào túpiàn, suǒyǐ wǒ yǐwéi “shū” shì hēisè de."

·   Teacher Wu said, "Thanks Joseph((高靖和), book is "book" and trees are "trees"."吳老師說: "謝謝 Joseph(高靖和) ，書是“書”，樹是“樹”。" Wú lǎoshī shuō:"Xièxiè Joseph(高靖和) , shū shì “shū”, shù shì “shù”."

Teacher Wu said, "The tones are diffeent for these two words."."吳老師說: "這兩個字的音高不同。" Wú lǎoshī shuō:"Zhè liǎng gè zì de yīn gāo bùtóng."

• Teacher Wu said, "I have never seen black tree before.  Does anyone know where the "Black Forest" is?" 吳老師說："我從未見過黑樹。 有誰知道“黑森林”在哪裡？"。.” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Wǒ cóng wèi jiànguò hēi shù. Yǒu shuí zhīdào “hēi sēnlín” zài nǎlǐ?"
• ”Joseph(高靖和) said, "It's in Germany. " Joseph(高靖和) 說: "在德國.” Joseph(高靖和)  shuō “Zài déguó."
• Teacher Wu said, "Why is "Black Forest" black? Is it because the dark colors?" 吳老師說："為什麼森林是黑色的？ 是因為深綠色嗎？"。.” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Wèishéme sēnlín shì hēisè de? Shì yīnwèi shēn lǜsè ma?"

• Steve (葛艾倫) said, "Perhaps, it is the dark "tree skins? - Barks?". " Steve (葛艾倫)說: "可能是深色的“樹皮”嗎？.” Steve  (葛艾倫) shuō “Kěnéng shì shēn sè de “shùpí” ma?”
• Steve (葛艾倫) said, "Teacher, I have another thought.  Could it be too many trees, too dense and the sunlight cannot shine through it?" Steve (葛艾倫)說: " 老師，我還有一個想法，是因為樹木太多，太密，陽光不能照進去？.” Steve  (葛艾倫) shuō “Lǎoshī, wǒ hái yǒu yīgè xiǎngfǎ, shì yīnwèi shùmù tài duō, tàiguāng bùnéng zhào jìnqù?”
• Raymond (書宗) said, "There is no sun light." Raymond (書宗)  說: "沒有陽光! (書宗) shuō : "Méiyǒu yángguāng."

  Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東) said, ""Black Forest" is a very magical place.  There is a lot of literature written about it." Darrell Rico Doss( 熊大東) 說, "黑森林是神奇的地方。 關於它的文獻很多 " Darrell Rico Doss ( 熊大東)shuō, "Hēi sēnlín shì shénqí dì dìfāng. Guānyú tā de wénxiàn hěnduō"
• Teacher Wu said, "we shared the Chinese caligraphy of Steve's wedding congratulatory poems  written by his wife's uncle - it's 7-words stanza" 吳老師說："我們分享了Steve  (葛艾倫) 太太叔叔所寫的結婚祝賀詩的中國書法-這是七言絶句"。.” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Wǒmen fēnxiǎngle Steve  (葛艾倫) tàitài shūshu suǒ xiě de jiéhūn zhùhè shī de zhōngguó shūfǎ-zhè shì Qī yán juégōu."

  

  It uses Micki's name as the beginning of the poem - The beautiful woman with the distinguished literary talent is from the house of Chan.  May the brightness and wealth be with us forever everyday.

• Teacher Wu said, "Kengting National Park's lighthouse had a fort built. So the local aboriginals wouldn't destroy it" 吳老師說："墾丁國家公園燈塔建有要塞。 所以當地的原住民不會破壞它?” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Kěndīng guójiā gōngyuán dēngtǎ jiàn yǒu yàosài. Suǒyǐ dāngdì de yuán zhùmín bù huì pòhuài tā?"
• Teacher Wu said, "We will be learning Unit Lesson 63 - story-telling contest." 吳老師說："我們將教第63課-說故事比賽?” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Wǒmen jiāng jiào dì 63 kè- shuō gùshì bǐsài."
• Teacher Wu said, "The homework is "please prepare a story about you to share with everyone."" 吳老師說："功課是“請準備一個關於您的故事，與大家分享”。” Wú lǎoshī shuō: “Gōngkè shì “qǐng zhǔnbèi yīgè guānyú nín de gùshì, yǔ dàjiā fēnxiǎng”."
